Well, Thanksgiving's around the corner, and if you're thinking about making a Turducken, you should order your birds today (so as to give your butcher 2 weeks to procure them for you).

Oh, and as you start thinking about your turkey day planning, here are a few other recipes to get you on your way to spending a day eating and drinking with friends and family.

Turkey and Old Fashioned sound so nice. I haven't had a chance to eat it yet, though.

This food seems like it's insult to injury for the turkey. Is it any good? It seems so wrong!

[any good? try fucking awesome] Moxie Mouse - it isn't good, it's fucking awesome. It's moist, and layered, and all the different flavors from the three stuffings and the three types of birds... oh my god. I've made about six of them in the past three years - people have even hired me to come and prepare them for their holiday parties. A little over the top, yes. But so, so delicious.

Turkey and Old Fashioneds are really good, Fumiaki. Next time you're in SF we'll have to go to Tommy's Joynt for turkey and cocktails.
